2021 accomplishments
- Integrated Lionbridge AI, one of only two globally-scaled, managed training data and data annotation services and platform providers in the world
- Completed our Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the NYSE and the TSX under the ticker symbol "TIXT"
- Completed the largest tech IPO in TSX history. With an initial market capitalization of $8.5 billion, TELUS International’s IPO surpassed TELUS’ valuation from 2000, and became the fifth largest IPO in TSX history by total proceeds raised
- Established the TELUS International AI Data Solutions team, comprised of the team members and expertise of Lionbridge AI and Playment
- Completed a successful secondary offering of subordinate voting shares
- Ranked in the top quartile globally among our peers with 80 per cent global engagement
- Expanded our global footprint to 53 delivery locations and 28 countries around the world
- Opened a second site in Bosnia and Herzegovina, fifth office in Guatemala, a seventh site in the Philippines and a third site in the United States
- Increased gender diversity on our Board to three board members by year end, with women now representing 30 per cent of our Board
- With the addition of our new Chief Commercial Officer to lead strategic growth and market collaboration, women now represent 38 per cent of our senior management team
- Launched an Employee Share Purchase Plan for our team members around the world
- Worked with local government and health officials to deploy thousands of COVID-19 vaccines to help ensure our team members in every region have access.
